Oyrabakki Reflection, Faroe Islands

Meet me in person and I could tell you endless stories but when it comes to telling these stories in words, I struggle.   I have never been the greatest and writing, I try though.

It’s about making the time to sit down and think about what to write.  Time is not always something I have available.  Between my wedding photography (@jameskelly_photo) and my family, time to just sit down and create is rare.

But I am trying to change that.  Over the next couple of months, big changes are happening to the home life and I hope this will bring more routine and time for me to create.   I really want to improve my creative writing, I want to be able to share with you the stories behind the image.

The saying “A photo is worth a thousand words” but I think there is a thousand words to the photo.  What did you go through to create the image, how was your mood, did you feel the same when you were editing and so on.

Is social media making us lazier?  Do we just double tap and move on?  Did that person have a story to tell you?  I love reading the stories.    If you have made it this far and you have a photograph with a story, tag me in comments of your photograph, I would love to read it.
