When the temperature is -8c: Meall a' Bhuachaille

Finally a good covering of snow in the Cairngorms, Scotland! My buddy Joe and I take an hours drive down to the beautiful Glenmore forrest to tackle the 810 meter Meall a' Bhuachaille.

With temperatures at roadside being -8C and on top of the mountain there was a little breeze making temperatures roughly around the -12C, it was a cold but a fresh morning. The trek up was surprisingly pleasant with not to much ice underfoot but coming back down again with a little tricky.

Encountered a few issues with equipment freezing and cold feet. Do you have any solutions to preventing filters/lenses from freezing?
